Welcome to the Asian-American Seventh-day Adventist Church in Bakersfield, California.

1. BAA Class of 2025 Consecration Service

  • On May 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM, the high school Graduating Class 2025 of Bakersfield Adventist Academy (BAA) will hold its Consecration Service at the Asian-American SDA Church. 

2. Memorial Weekend Family Day Celebration 

  • May 25, 2023, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the Bakersfield Adventist Academy. Come enjoy a day of fun, games, food and fellowship - all for a great cause! Bring your family and friends, and be a part of something that will bless generations to come.

    • Pre-loved home goods sale
    • Plants sale, and clothes and accessories booths
    • Asian food, baked goods, exotic drinks & more!

3. Special Sabbaths

  • May 10, 2025: Praise the Lord! Concert. We invite everyone to a Sabbath Vespers concert featuring Alvin and Dannah Precious Tomas and the Asian-American SDA Church Sanctuary and Children Choirs. Program will be held at the Bakersfield Hillcrest SDA Church at 6:00 PM. Click here for the recorded broadcast of the live program.

  • Bible Study: Tuesdays 6:30 PM; Wednesdays 6:00 PM; Thursdays 7:00 PM (call or text for location)
  • CARE Groups: Northeast, Northwest, Central, Southwest, Youth & Young Adults
  • Vespers: Friday 7:00 PM (call or text for location)
  • Sabbath School: Saturday 10:00 AM
  • Worship Service: Saturday 11:15 AM
  • Children and Youth Program: Saturday 2:00 PM

5. We are a part of a District of 4 churches called Mission: Oildale, Asian, Shafter, and Taft (MOAST) in the following locations:
