Welcome to the Asian-American Seventh-day Adventist Church in Bakersfield, California.

We are a loving community of various cultures and ethnicities preparing for the Second Advent of Jesus. We would love to have you join our family.

1. Special Sabbaths

  • April 5 & 12, 2025: Open Communion (Lord's Supper) invites everyone who have committed their life to Jesus. This memorial of His sacrifice is a time to express faith through the ordinance of humility (foot washing) and partaking of the emblems (unleavened bread and unfermented grape juice).
  • March 15, 2025: Graceforce Ministries benefit concert, free for all. Graceforce is led by Pastor Dan Smith, also the global evangelist of The Quiet Hours Ministries. 
  • March 7-9, 2025: Church Retreat. Most families and regular visitors will be camping at Pismo Beach. RSVP with Gilbert and Gel Fajardo, Family Ministries leaders. There will be a few who will continue to worship on Sabbath (March 8) at the church in 6715 E Brundage Ln.
  • March 1, 2025: Ordination Sabbath. Members and guests are requested to go to the Living Waters Oildale SDA Church, 612 Sharon Pl, Bakersfield, CA 93308. No service will held at 6715 E Brundage Ln for this Sabbath only. Call, text, or voice mail 661-376-0555 for any clarification or more information. 

2. You are welcome to our weekly services:

  • Bible Study: Wednesday 6:00 PM; Thursday 7:00 PM (call or text for location)
  • CARE Groups: Northeast, Northwest, Central, Southwest, Youth & Young Adults
  • Vespers: Friday 7:00 PM (call or text for location)
  • Sabbath School: Saturday 10:00 AM
  • Worship Service: Saturday 11:15 AM
  • Children and Youth Program: Saturday 2:00 PM

3. We are a part of a District of 4 churches called Mission: Oildale, Asian, Shafter, and Taft (MOAST) in the following locations:
